The time has come. Dru-Zod (Colin Salmon) has the means to deal with the rebellion on Wegthor. But before he can enact his plan, he must come face-to-face with Doomsday. And as this preview for next week’s show declares, we will learn a startling new origin for the seemingly mindless engine of destruction.
Meanwhile, how about the game of wits going on between Brainiac (Blake Ritson) and Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe)? Just when you thought the computer tyrant was gone — or transferred to Lobo (Emmett J. Scanlan) — an “infinitesimal” part of his consciousness remained wedded to Seg’s mind. He’s definitely handy to have around in certain situations, but the price is just too high.
Also, Jax-Ur’s (Hannah Waddingham) confidence in her decision to kill Lyta-Zod (Georgina Campbell) cannot be a good thing for the rebellion. Look at how most of the resistance immediately sided with Val-El (Ian McElhinney). It is possible the entire organization will implode before Zod has a chance to unleash his latest weapon upon them?
