Previously, it was reported that the popular action combat MMO, DC Universe Online, was coming to the Nintendo Switch this summer. Now after San Diego Comic Con, we know the actual release date with the title set to launch on August 6. The Switch release provides an on-the-go aspect not found on other consoles.
Players can create their own unique characters for the game with over 300 available customizations. They can even use actual icons like Batman, Wonder Woman and the Joker to explore locales like Gotham, Metropolis and over 30 universes.
Publisher, Daybreak Games, also revealed two new episodes, Metal Part I and Metal Part II, to arrive September and December respectively. The upcoming content is inspired by the recent Dark Knights: Metal storyline.
