Sony has revealed the free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers for the month of August: XDev’s Wipeout Omega Collection and Rebellion Developments’ Sniper Elite 4.
Wipeout Omega Collection is a combination of Wipeout HD, the Wipeout HD Fury expansion, and Wipeout 2048. It features over two dozen tracks and tons of ships players can unlock over time, as they compete against both the computer and in an eight-person online mode. This game is also fully available to players who would like to experience the fun of anti-gravity racing in VR.
Meanwhile, Sniper Elite 4 sees players take on the role of Karl Fairburne, a sniper working behind enemy lines in Italy during World War II. The game allows players to take advantage of traps as well as environmental hazards to get through each stage however they like, alone or in two-player co-op. Players are also able to do twelve-player competitive multiplayer.
Both of these games will be available for Plus users on August 6th, while Detroit: Become Human and Horizon Chase Turbo remain available until then.
