by Sage Ashford

A new promotional video has released for the upcoming Sorcerous Stabber Orphen remake. This new series is being made in honor of the series’ 20th anniversary. The story follows Krylancelo Finrandi, a young sorcerer who trained at the Tower of Fang, a location known for taking in the greatest sorcerers.   But after he loses his adopted sister due to one of her experiments gone wrong, Kryl abandons the Tower of Fang to chase after her.

The series is being worked on by director Takayuki Hamana, known for his work on Sisters of Wellber and the recent Nanoha films.  Veteran writer Reiko Yoshida is in charge of series composition, previously known for her work on D.Gray-man and Bakuman. Character design is being handled by Takahiko Yoshida, of Yowamushi Pedal fame.  Studio DEEN is in charge of production.

Though the series was meant to launch this year, the series will instead premiere January 2020.
