Since Bandai-Namco’s new Dragon Ball Z RPG project was announced, fans have been plagued with a single question: does it end at the Frieza Saga? In fairness, for years DBZ games have relied on this for their strategy, giving players the first half of DBZ with one game and the second half in a later installment. However, with this game that’s been confirmed to not be a problem, as a recent trailer confirms the game will be finishing up at least the Cell Saga.
DBZ: Kakarot has also confirmed some other, smaller details. The game will be introducing a new member of the Ginyu Force named Bonyu. She’s from the same planet as Jeice but left the Force because of their love of weird poses. They’ve also explained that the episode where Piccolo and Vegeta learn to drive is in the game, meaning it’s now in the running for best DBZ game ever.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2020.
