by Olly MacNamee

Sci-fi has always reflected contemporary society’s greatest fears and post-apocalyptic sci-fi series  Pandemica seems to follow in this tradition in spades. Written by Johnathan Maberry with art by Alex Sanchez and colors by Jay Fotos with lettering by Shawn Lee, Pandemica #1, out this week from IDW,  sees a prejudice government wishing to cleanse itself of diversity through ethnic cleansing via smart bombs. It seems that to make America great again, it’ll take a genocide to achieve this. Check out the preview below.

War is brewing in America. A shadow government is preparing to launch “purity bombs” for ethnic cleansing. A small group of scientists and former SpecOps shooters stand in their way. Join the resistance—save the world! Pandemica by New York Times bestseller Jonathan Maberry (V-Wars, Black Panther: Doomwar).
