Explore Immortality, Love & Greed In The Heart Hunter From Legendary Comics

by Gary Catig

Legendary Comics is assembling quite a collection of creator owned books. Their most recent addition is the upcoming graphic novel, The Heart Hunter, which is written by novelist, McKelle George, and illustrated by V. Gagnon.

The Heart Hunter is a tale that explores immortality, love and greed. On the cursed island of Envecor, its inhabitants are unable to die or leave until they find their soulmate. Once united, the couple becomes mortal and can depart the island to live the rest of their lives.

However, there are some residents who love being immortal and hire so called, “Heart Hunters” to track down their predestined soul mates and murder them before they can find each other.

Pysche is one such Heart Hunter who is tasked by the king to kill his future partner. As she embarks on her quest, she deals with her own personal demons and relationship issues.

Nikita Kannekanti, Editor of Legendary Comics, says:

McKelle’s original idea and unique storytelling coupled with V. Gagnon’s stunning artwork is going to bring Psyche’s story to life in such a compelling way that fans are sure to enjoy. I am thrilled to be working with these two extraordinary creators and cannot wait to release the graphic novel next year.

The Heart Hunter will be released in late 2020. You can learn more about the title and other Legendary Comics books at their panel at Rose City Comic Con (“Legendary Comics 2019 and Beyond”, Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 4:00pm – 5:00pm in Room 6). You can ask the question how Heart Hunters kill people if everyone on the island is immortal.
