My Hero Gets A New Video Game With ‘My Hero: One’s Justice 2’

by Sage Ashford

Just in time for NYCC, Bandai-Namco released a proper trailer of the sequel for My Hero: One’s Justice. In One’s Justice 2, many of the characters from the original will make a return, including regulars like Bakugou, Todoroki, and of course Deku, along with some of the lesser known characters like Tokoyami, Jiro, and Endeavor.

But those aren’t the only characters making an appearance in this game, as we approach the next season for the series.  The Big 3 of U.A. High, the three third-year students that are the best in the school, Mirio, Tamaki, and Nejire, are all present and accounted for.  But what’s a game without it’s villains?  That’s why the yakuza leader Kai Chisaki is also joining this game, alongside a returning Tomura Shigaraki.

The original One’s Justice came in slightly under 70 on Metacritic, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.  Games like this get better as they have more time to improve in the sequel, adding new characters and fine-tuning mechanics.  It’s still not going to be the competitive fighter like DBFZ like some people are looking for, but that’s not what this is meant to be.  They’re supposed to be fun arena fighters, allowing people to enjoy the fanservice of being these characters.  Now if we could just get that in RPG form as well…

My Hero: One’s Justice 2 launches in 2020 for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
