Even though Ramsey Rosso (Sendhil Ramamurthy) may not even realize it himself yet, the villainous Bloodwork is poised to unleash a reign of terror around Central City. And as this preview of next week’s The Flash indicates, Rosso will turn to Team Flash for aid in stopping the creature born of his clearly bad cure. Will Barry (Grant Gustin) and the others stop the monster in time?
The promo also seems to indicate Barry will tell everyone about the coming Crisis. Which, honestly, is a nice change of pace for Barry and Iris (Candice Patton). Far too often, they keep secrets and learn way too late that a lot of heartache could have been avoided if they just said the harder truth earlier on. Could this be actual character growth for change?
Meanwhile, this week’s episode was a delight as we got a better picture of Team Citizen, saw Cecile (Danielle Nicolet) deciding the DA’s office is not her best destiny, and finally met Jay’s (John Wesley Shipp) wife Joan (Michelle Harrison). That she ended up being a doppelganger of Nora Allen (also Harrison) was a nice surprise and maybe an indication that Barry will have a version of his parents after the Crisis. Well, presuming he can find a way to survive it, of course.
The Flash airs Tuesdays on The CW.
