Dark Horse’s ‘Steam’ Takes Good Vs. Evil To A New Dimension

by James Ferguson

Dark Horse Comics has announced Steam, a new all-ages graphic novel exploring a steampunk world. Written by Drew Ford, illustrated by Duane Leslie, and colored by Eva de la Cruz, the comic follows Arlo, a young boy who escapes his abusive guardians on Earth through an intergalactic portal to the steam-powered planet of Pother. It’s here he discovers his long-lost father helped a powerful corporation from Earth try to deplete the planet’s resources.

Arlo rights these wrongs by joining a small group of Pother resisters as they work to both remove this dangerous organization from their world and protect the planet’s natural inhabitants.

The interdimensional adventure of Steam begins next year. The graphic novel is set for release on May 27th, 2020 at your local comic shop and on June 9th, 2020 at bookstores and Amazon. It will retail for $14.99.
