Archie 1955, the historical fiction series putting Archie and his friends as “real” teens during the birth of rock ‘n’ roll continues with December’s issue #3. Publisher Archie Comics has shared an early preview of the issue, following Archie’s big splash on the radio waves and his television debut. While his star is rising quickly, everyone else in his life has different feelings about it.
Archie 1955 #3 is written by Mark Waid and Brian Augustyn, illustrated by Ray Anthony-Height, colored by Glenn Whitmore, and lettered by Jack Morelli. It features a main cover by Ben Caldwell and variant covers by Jerry Ordway and Paul Renaud. It’s set for release on December 11th, 2019 and the final order cutoff date for comic shops is Monday, November 18th, 2019.
