X-O Manowar Gets Metal With New Bronze Variant

by Gary Catig

Last December, Valiant Entertainment revealed covers for their latest X-O Manowar series arriving this spring. It appears they have one more cover to show and it may be their best. There is also an X-O Manowar #1 bronze metal variant cover.

The gleaming brushed metal cover contains art from Raúl Allén and was designed by Valiant’s Director of Design and Production, Travis Escarfullery. This special variant will be a 1:250 cover so you better ask your LCS how to pre-order one before March 2. You can’t fully appreciate this cover until you see it from different angles.

X-O Manowar #1 is written by Dennis “Hopeless” Hallum, illustrated by Emilio Laiso, colored by Ruth Redmond and lettered by Hassan Otsmane-Elhao. The title hits shops this March 25 from Valiant Entertainment.
