Getting To Know The Warlords Of New York In New ‘Tom Clancy’s The Division 2’ Trailer

by Gary Catig

Video game developer Ubisoft previously announced that Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 would be hitting the road; leaving the nation’s capital and heading up north to NYC. In the latest expansion pack, “Warlord’s of New York”, players will a face new threats as they track down the cure for the devastating virus that created the new world. But how do you battle a threat that used to be one of your own? To help promote the expansion’s March 3 release, an animated short film was created which provides an inside look at the antagonists. Check out the description and the video below.

Division Agent Aaron Keener has now turned rogue. He manipulates his 4 lieutenants into taking control of Lower Manhattan, putting his plans in motion. Players will discover more about the main targets they must track down in their manhunt for Keener. Among Keener’s rogue lieutenants are chemical engineer Vivian Conley, who has aligned herself with the Cleaners faction, and former drone engineer and hacker Theo Parnell. Then there’s Javier Kajika, a former Black Op on a path for revenge, and James Dragov, master of heavy weapons who is now leading the iconic Rikers faction. All will prove to be merciless opponents to the agents of The Division venturing in Lower Manhattan.

In addition, from February 27 to March 2, Ubisoft will host a free weekend for newcomers to play the main game to allow new agents to discover Washington DC and see what lead to “Warlord’s of New York”. There will be no level caps or restrictions and all progress made during the free event can be carried over if they decide to purchase the game.
