April Event And Characters Coming To ‘Marvel Contest of Champions’

by Gary Catig

With April approaching, tons of new content will be coming to Marvel Contest of Champions. There will be two additional champions joining in and a month-long special event with quests. Let’s take a look at what’s in store.

The first new character is the Sorcerer Supreme. Her spotlight can be found here and her profile below.

Sorcerer Supreme, a new and mysterious comer to the Battlerealm. While her intentions, and her allegiances, are a mystery, her strength in the mystic arts makes her a force to be reckoned with. With a strong command of the Astral energies, she is able to disarm her foes with relaxed ease, stripping away their powers before she powers herself up to take the fight to her foes. It’d be wise to not underestimate the powers of the Mystic Arts.

The other fighter is Storm (Pyramid X). Check out her spotlight and the following profile.

Storm (Pyramid X), also known as the Fourth Horseman, is the second mysterious force to charge into the Battlerealm. An indomitable force with the power of the weather at her fingertips, she delivers shock and awe with a force that has never been seen before. Whom she serves, with her weather bending powers, is beyond imagination. It is a mystery held by the other world she hails from. Do not dare attempt to challenge Pyramid X.

These two Champions find themselves on opposite sides and the April event makes players to choose who they’ll team with. There will be four quests, with one released each week. If you ally with the Sorcerer Supreme, the rewards will be Rank-Up Materials while those with Storm (Pyramid X) can win Crystal Shards. In the middle of the month, the first two quests will be permanently locked allowing summoners to switch allegiances and earn resources from the other faction. There will also be side specific solo objectives.
