‘The God Of High School’ Comes To Crunchyroll

by Sage Ashford

Crunchyroll recently began running popular webtoons like Tower of God, and they’re not slowing down, as next up is The God of High School. According to the Crunchyroll website, the series is about a high school kid and his friends competing in an “epic tournament” while borrowing strength from the gods and learning about a shadowy organization at the same time.

The series is being animated by MAPPA, one of the best studios in the game at the moment, so Crunchyroll is definitely going all out in an attempt to make this program of original series work. There’s plenty of material for this series to work from, as it’s been running for almost a decade, so at this point the only real question is how much of the show is Crunchyroll (and MAPPA) going to animate?

The God of High School releases later this year.
