by Gary Catig

Netmarble has dropped the latest update for their popular mobile action RPG, The King of Fighter Allstar. With the new update comes a bunch of new content including dungeons, events and rewards that can help make players grow even stronger.

Included is an advanced version of the game’s Team Relay mode entitled, Team Relay Challenge. The new feature allows a player to use two teams of three fighters to inflict as much damage as they can on a boss for two minutes. Strategically playing through the mode gives players a chance to obtain higher rankings and in-game rewards in accordance to their rank.

Also available in the new update is the Hard Element Advent feature. It consists of dungeons of five attributes, each with 25 tiers. A team of three fighters must defeat as many monsters as they can in an allotted amount of time. It is the most advanced dungeon feature to date and focuses more on attributes and buff combinations.

In addition, the KOF ALLSTAR Pass allows players to earn Pass Points that can be redeemed for in-game rewards by completing missions. Passes can be upgraded to receive additional special rewards along with the basic ones.

Other features include:

  • Protect the Huge Watermelon! – This is a new playable in-game event where players will have to protect the watermelon statue at the center of the stage from waves of monsters. Players can obtain plus capsules, EXP capsules, and extra-large watermelon shaved ice as reward.
  • 2000 Seth’s Super Mission – By completing the newly added ‘Super Mission,’ players can earn various rewards like a 2000 Seth fighter, associated Souls and Special Cards, Enhancement Hammers, Gold, Memories, and more.

The King of Fighters Allstar is now available for download from the App Store and Google Play.
