Latest ‘The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya’ Volume Receives Simultaneous Japan And U.S. Release

Fans in the U.S. of the classic light novel series, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, can get excited when the next installment is released. Publisher, Yen Press, recently announced that the latest volume, The Intuition of Haruhu Suzumiya, will receive a scheduled digital release in the United States along at the same time it is available in Japan.

The story is set in a high school and follows the titular character and the rest of her SOS Brigade as they find aliens, time travelers and espers. Little does she know that the members of the club represent the different groups they’re searching for. In addition, Haruhi has the super ability to literally create or destroy the universe.

The Intuition of Haruhi Suzumiya is written by Nagaru Tanigawa, illustrated by Noizi, and translated by Andrew Cunningham and will be released on November 25th, 2020. In addition to the announcement of the latest light novel, all the previous volumes are receiving new printings and the entire series will be rebranded to the Yen On light novel imprint.
