Super Sunday (Part 4): ‘Knights Vs Pirates’ In A Tale Of High Fantasy And The High Seas

by Olly MacNamee

Reckless Heroes are another successful small press publisher from here in the UK and their latest Kickstarter campaign is almost up. If you haven’t yet checked out Knight Vs Pirates yet, you really, really should.

Bear witness as the most feared pirate ever to sail the seven seas, Blackbeard himself, and his crew of ruthless cutthroats face off against the most revered King to ever rule over Great Britain, King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table.

Written by Jay Martin with art by Chris Imber and colour art by Chris Jenkins, this is a great looking book playing with the legend of King Arthur, Blackbeard and more in this highly entertaining looking high-fantasy graphic novel.

For more, do yourself a favour and check out their campaign before it closes. Part of the pledge rewards include an original page of art from the forthcoming book as illustrated by the obscenely talented Chris Imber. And, for a very decent price too.
