Image Comics Announces New Ongoing Punk Horror Series ‘Home Sick Pilots’ By Watters And Wijngaard

Writer Dan Watters is certainly a very busy writer these days. What with the announcement earlier this week of his 19th century Oscar Wilde inspired series The Picture of Everything Else (Vault Comics), and now this one from Image Comics. Home Sick Pilots sees Watters reunite with his Limbo partner Caspar Wijngaard on this ongoing horror that’s due out this December.

“In Home Sick Pilots, in the summer of 1994, a haunted house walks across California. Inside is Ami, lead singer of a high school punk band — who’s been missing for weeks. How did she get there, and what do these ghosts want? Expect three-chord songs and big bloody action that’s Power Rangers meets The Shining (yes, really).”

Out Wednesday December 9th, here’s a first look at this book, described as The Haunting of Hill House meets Paper Girls. And, looking at that house on the first page, they could add Psycho to the list of influences on this new series too:
