Ubisoft released a pair of trailers about Watch Dogs: Legion, one focusing on the storyline of the game, while the other goes into detail on the game’s content coming after launch. More below on the main game, which introduces the main villain of the game and features all the different antagonists as well:
Incoming transmission from Zero Day: ‘London is facing its downfall and there’s nothing you can do to stop it.’ The fate of London lies with you and your ability to build a resistance and fight back. Recruit anyone in London to your team to liberate the city.
The focus for the post-launch content starts with multi-player, which introduces a number of co-op missions for two to four players, as well as four-person “Tactical Ops” missions. They’ll also be adding a PvP mode where four to eight players will be able to battle one another using mechanical Spiderbots.
There’s also a bunch of free post-launch content, which includes new characters that have new special skills, more missions, and a New Game Plus mode.
The paid content to the game will introduce Watch Dogs: Bloodline, a separate storyline where Aiden Pearce and Wrench work together. It will also include two new characters: Mina, a transhuman experiment who can control people’s minds, and Darcy, a literal member of the Assassins. This signifies the first real crossover between Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed. Bloodline will also introduce additional missions, and a copy of Watch Dogs: Complete Edition.
Watch Dogs: Legion will release for current-gen consoles and PC via the Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store, and Stadia on October 29th. It will also come to next-gen consoles on each console’s launch day.
