X-Men: ‘The Trial Of Magneto’ Begins In August

Magneto is Krakoa’s great hero. A figure for all mutantkind to aspire to. But this August, he goes on trial in an event that could split the X-Men in two.

Thanks to a mysterious teaser, with art by returning Marvel legend John Romita Jr., we know that Magneto is “on trial” in Trial of Magneto in August. However, we don’t know for sure if this is a legal trial, a la Magneto’s first trial from Uncanny X-Men #200, or something like the mythological Trials of Hercules.

It also appears that this is the classified Leah Williams and Valerio Schiti project that was teased recently. However, that has not been officially confirmed quite yet.
