Perry Got Domestic Violence Injunction Against Leo’s Mom
The Pulse has learned that two weeks before his mysterious disappearance, comics writer Steve Perry was awarded a domestic violence injunction against Kristal Carroll, the estranged mother of his son Leo. Perry had filed the complaint after a domestic confrontation that resulted in the local police being called by neighbors.
Meanwhile Carroll had opened a child custody case against Perry and the dueling injunctions led to a scheduled child custody hearing set for May 13th, which Perry ultimately missed. His absence caused friends to contact the police on May 14th and launched the missing persons investigation which led to the gruesome discovery of his blood soaked van and an unidentified body part nearby.
Local news reports of Perry’s disappearance have ignored this aspect of the case even though the police and reporters covering the sensational events are in possession of the court documents.

The Pulse had published an e-mail message Perry sent out to friends and benefactors detailing his domestic situation. Our source for that e-mail, Steve Bissette, has requested we take it down. For more information on Steve Perry, check out Bissette’s blog.

Man this is a sad story. The more details come out, the worse his situation seems to have been. Just a horrific way to end one’s days.
Steve Perry..comic book hero or gifted griffter? Well probably a bit of both. I knew Steve well, and I am sending this out from FL where I am waiting for Krystal (not Kristal) and Leo to come back from grocery shopping. We are expecting our daughter any day now..so I guess you could say I know Krystal (not Kristal) too. But as bad as this whole thing is,it is not as bad as the slander being published in comic world blogs in regards to Krystal (not Kristal) I know none of you folks will probably read this cause you can’t break away from your D&D game or your too busy laying around in your skivvies playing video games but there is more to this story than even the best fantasy writer could conjure. My e-mail is happyman2150@yahoo.com. And please get ahold of me for some of the more juciest of details..was Steve Perry a Hero or just a washed up has been hooked on dope?..will James Davis fry in the FL electric chair or was he talked into a assisted suicide in a drug crazed conversation?..was the lawyer in Indiana a woman or a man wishing to be a woman lawyer from Indiana..and will the REAL ms. Maples please stand up,please stand up..tune in Boys and Girls for the next episode of “Red Eye Gravy” or better known as “Chopped up in Zhills:anyone seen my Head”..hmm,maybe I should write comics too..JP.
