I can tell you for sure. The bikini was inserted in the coloring process, as black rasterized layer, I think that maguire don't drawn any swimsuit.
Wich it's great, K.Maguire makes gorgeous femenine bodies, in the 90's he worked for erotic-porno comics for Penthouse, and he done a great work on it.
Besides that comment, the second issue of defenders was funny, but totally out of character, I don't like it.

I don't think its really meant to 'in character' as such. Or for that matter, 'taken seriously'. Its for pure comedic value not in depth character analysis. Namor is expected to be arrogant, so, like the melodramatic Dr Strange, the philospophical Silver Surfer and the raging Hulk, they are way over the top.

Hey, if Ari Avad and Joey Da Q don't respect Marvel's characters, why should Giffen and JMDm? Or why should you (or me) for that matter...it's a fine, fine comic, and Maguire's cartooning is (another) major reason why...

#1 excellent.#2 a little long winded.But to be fair i think now that they've fully explained dormmau and umar's plan(i think) i get lost easily when they start using all that cosmic stuff i cringe when eternity shows up(hate him)it'll pick up next issue. but otherwise pretty good 2nd issue a little dull but i expect 3 to pick up the slack i'm not sure how spot on the characetrization is but then again dont it always change every 4 months or so for these particular charcaters?
