Wow, what a drag. All that discussion lost. I know it must have been unavoidable, but reconstructing this thread is impractical at best. Oh well... anyway, we congregate here now. Party on.

Oh well, on with the show. Any discussion on what template we wish to use for the Jam site?

I like them both, but would have to go with the second one. Mostly so we can have more room to showcase the work, we don't need to have a navigation bar taking up a lot of room.

Lets go with 786 X 410. I just added it to the rules page at www.ohboycomics.com . You could always make it the other size as well since it'll fit into the same area. I also finally updated the page assignments section at www.ohboycomics.com too.

Wha- wait, what happened? I don't get this upgrade thing. I mean, the first animation section had 1414 posts, this one has 1409. I don't know what's goin' on, but I don't like it one bit...

When they moved the threads they lost some. Oops.

OK 768x410 it is! You might wanna email that out to the posse there, John. I'll be upgrading the look of the page shortly; that nav bar at the top will contain the title, places to click for each page, and a place to link to either an info page about the artist or to the artist's web site, their choice. There will be no intro page; I think it should open right to the art. We'll put explanatory material on another page.

Sounds like a plan. This whole upgrade thing makes me feel like I've just come home from a vacation and found my town burned to the ground, what with people trying to salvage their threads and whatnot. The whole thing is very eerie... but hey, someone rescued the "lets do something pg. 2"! All that conversation is NOT lost!

Sounds alright to me. I'm probably going to have to go with the short info bio page since my page no longer exists after the whole "PIRATE PORN FREAKS FROM HELL!!!" episode. I might want to change the info on the bio befre you put it on the page though, so let us all know when you're ready to do that. Also, if the contributor wants to have a little bio page, it might be cool if they did a small self-portrait of themselves in their own style to go along with the info.

I guess all we really need to have now, besides the actual pages, is the title. Have we come up with anything that sounds like a keeper so far?

Hmm... comin' up with a title, now ther's a damn fine idea, damn fine! It seems to me like now's about the time someone is supposed to go "I GOT IT!" and proceed to reveal to us the perfect comic book project title and all will agree that it's a damn fine title, damn fine! ...............................I GOT IT! "Uncle Custer's Comic Book Jamboree"! ...... Aw jeez I just wanted to be the hero!!! Just ONCE!!! *sob sob*

Jeff - how are the contributors going to get their files to you for posting on the site? I heard from Juan last week so I know he's working on page 1 and (according to the schedule) should have it done by the end of the week.
