I received hatemail from a PETA person to inform me that I am as bad as the nazis killing Jews for my choice of diet. (I stated on a message board (not this one) that I enjoyed leg of lamb, and, even more so, corned beef sandwiches.)

There is some evidence that plants feel pain, so given that at least the animal is dead when you eat them, and unaware, wouldn't eating meat be more humane? Just think of the bowl full of horror a salad must be, for plants.

Meat tastes better with a certain amount of fat in it, so both of those groups are out.

The idea that meat tastes like murder is a silly notion. Everyone knows that meat tastes like cannibalism.

And oh boy bravo to a group that seems to realize they have to keep putting naked women in the media in order to get anyone to listen to them.

Anyone who tries to keep me from enjoying chicken might learn what murder tastes like.
