Yeah, same thing with 24-- I have no idea how they're going to pull everything out of the fire in the last hour-- there's just not enough time. Unless the Vice President turns out to be a good guy after all. And will we see Michele Phillips again? Oh well, that's another show. Sorry...

"I'll go even further out on this limb and say that Willow's hair turning white is a result of her using good magic. See, black hair=evil magic, white hair=good magic."

That's not going out on a limb at all. That's pretty obvious. I thought that the instant I saw her hair in the preview (especially since she was making with the "I'm opening up a gigantic can of magical whupass" face and all...).

On the one hand, I hate it when any character I dig dies, but, on the other, I don't want Whedon to go with just the obvious choices for fatalities... the "expendable" or short-timer players like Andrew and The Potentials. Either way, I guess I win and I lose. Either Joss takes the easy way out or I lose some characters I cherish. Of course, the final body count could be something of a mix between the cautious and the shocking.

MY LAST BUFFY PREDICTION BEFORE THIS EVENING:

Before the show proper starts, all the regular cast members will appear on a bare stage, and proceed to dance around while singing the following song, much to the confusion of the under-20 crowd:

Overture, curtain, lights,
This is it, the night o' nights,
No more rehearsing or nursing the part
We know every part by heart.

Overture, curtain, lights,
This is it, we'll hit the heights,
And oh what heights we'll hit,
On with the show, This is it!

(And a voiceover says smile

Starring that shoulda-been-an-Emmy winning Vampire Slayer, Buffy Summers!

(Applause applause applause)

aieeee 3 1/2 hours and counting...and this off of cinescape.com:
"Whedon filmed multiple endings and false death scenes for a number of the show's regulars, so ultimately anything could happen tonight. However, he has claimed that the door is left open for a future return of the Slayer, be it a spinoff series or a feature film. We know that James Marsters has already signed to appear next season on ANGEL, so his character of Spike the vampire must survive tonight's mayhem...right? Then again, it would be just like Joss to lull you into a false sense of security"

aieeee

(btw, how sad does dumas have to be to bump his own lil buffy hater discussion up since noone had posted on it since mid december...sad sad)

Regarding bumping the anti-Buffy thread-- I don't think it's sad, I think it's a perfectly legitimate effort to stimulate discussion about the points he raised.

He does! He does have to shoot me now!

So shoot me now.

I really wish I was watching Buffy right now instead of typing this. I missed the first 10 minutes while I was getting my son ready for bed, so I guess I'll have to wait until later tonight to find out how it all ends.

Boy this waiting sucks.

I bumped it because two guys on another thread wanted to see it. I really don't even want to talk about Buffy any more.

Is that okay with you?
