I don't think someone's ancestry or faith would have much to do with the perception of anti-Semitism in the movie - it basically boils down to whether or not they're an idiot who wants to see things that aren't there. I know lots of Jews and Christians, none of whom lend any credence whatsoever to those ridiculous accusations made by people who haven't even seen the movie.

There is something seriously wrong here.

Medved has sucked up to the Moral Majority because it gives him job security he never would have had if he just stayed a banal critic on TV. He would have disappeared alongside other TV critics like Bill Harris or Jeffry Lyons, if he remained in secular media.

Now, he has a faithful audience of Evangelical Christians who think by supporting him, they can prove to the world that their hate-filled worldview is not in anyway similar to Anti-Semitism previous totalitarian movements have espoused.
