OK, i remember from the commercials that they said 3 of the secrets were finally to be revealed. what were they?

I can only think (or remember) of 2, the kids and the rest of the kidnapped people are ok and that in fact there is a way to get off the island, what was the third?

It was the origin/meaning of Jack's tattoos, which is to my mind much ado about little, even though they tried to make it sound like a big deal.

To my mind the series has lost a lot of its focus by devoting the lion's share of time to the history/background of the Others. Some are moderately interesting but damnit, I want more of the characters I bonded with, not these upstarts.

I have a terrible feeling that this disproportionate emphasis on the Others is some sort of behind-the-scenes power-game to marginalize any demands the older cast-members might make on the producers.
