God that orientation tape is horrible. It looks so incredibly fake. Those first three episodes almost had me quitting the series.

I saw it at a friend's high-speed house, and the one thing I will give it is it is cool to see a T.V. series that has an almost comics fandom behind it- with websites, magazines, etc.

One possibility is that while the Initiative was messing around with their behavioral experiments, they unleashed something not explicable in the universe of behavioral science.

Yeah,after writing that I realized any comic book fan worth their salt could come up with multiple possible explanations just,perhaps,no single all encompassing one. Another possibility: the 'cloud' was released when the geothermal heat/power source was tapped,wiped out any scientists on the island,but not the 'lab rat' in the bunker.
