Really nice! And in counterpoint to Sawyer's pessimism,Jin DIDN'T parrot those lines which would've been the easy laugh,just a single white flower & sincerity. Some of the best written characters on tv for sure.

I thought the Others' episodes were some of the better ones. Assuming that the writers are developing an actual sprawling storyline, the added characters don't bother me.

I'm hoping Charlie isn't long for this world. Kill him!

Well, I figure that killing him is the only way to break the vision.

Then (taking our cue from comics, where the dead get better), zap him with a defibrilater or whatever, and he returns from death, resussitated. Voila! Vision fullfilled, and the hobbit isn't unemployed.

Wednesday's ep was titled 'The Man From Tallahassee'. The title itself was enough to have our local news do a little report on the upcoming show. Yeah,we're that starved for celebrity here in tallytown. The thing is,like a good percentage of news reports they got the facts wrong,saying that John Locke was 'the man from Tallahassee'. The title phrase didn't occur in the script until midway in the show. John had Ben at gunpoint and after demanding that his backpack full of C-4 be brought to him,Ben told his assistant to "bring the man from Tallahassee". John asks if that was a code phrase,Ben explains in convoluted fashion it wasn't. Sometime around then,Ben tells John the story about the 'magic box'on the island in which anything in the world can appear if it's a person's heartfelt desire. Even Locke doesn't buy that island mumbo jumbo,yet when he peers into the box at episode's end,unbelievably,magically there is his con man father bound at his mercy. Final proof of the island's supernatural power-- unless the flim flam man is 'the man from Tallahassee'? That Ben is a creepy bastard (when did his hair turn black?)but he sure thinks ahead!

Ben is friggin brilliant!


My prediction? Spoiler ahead,


Locke's father is also the Real Sawyer, the man our Sawyer has been looking for all his life. It makes sense doesn't it? Locke's father is a scummy con man and that link is too hard to deny.

Just like Jack and Claire.


That's my prediction at least.

So, Locke blows up the sub and Jack gives him a look that says I am going to throw you out of a eight story building.

TAKE THAT HEROES! There is only ONE good show on right now (cause Rescue Me is not back until the summer) and it's a little show called LOST!
