Anyone else think the coffin looked too small for a grownup?

Paul,I checked my tape again to determine the size of the coffin and,well,it's still a tough call. Shown from overhead,it definitely looked a bit short,but from all other shots it seemed to be able to easily accomodate an average adult male. Serendipitously,I saw just a few minutes later on The McGlaughlin Group coverage of the funeral of Jerry Falwell. In one shot his casket actually looked a little small and we all know,whatever our opinions of him,he wasn't any lightweight! I'm thinking that the framing of the tv screen itself made the casket appear somewhat squat in straight-on shots,but I'm open to being wrong on this.
If the newspaper clipping is not a case of intentional misdirection,one thing's clear,there's a boatload of story between the survivors' 'rescue' and the events of the flash forward.
