I HATE serialization in comics... HATE it. I haven't bought a serialized book in many years because of the frustrating cliffhanger effect. I really like Dave Coopers books but I haven't even picked up an issue of Weasel simply because I'm waiting for the collection.

I know it's not economically sound to publish graphic novels (or "books", as I like to call them) but goddamn it, it should be.

and, it isn't splitting hairs to me. The way a book is presented has a significant impact on how it is read... No, it isn't as important as the overall story or content of the comic but, of course you can't really see that chapter-to-chapter either.

When you say shit like this, I just want to choke you. Perhaps just to see if I could actually make your eyes pop out from the force. Just a quick clean and jerk is all I'm asking....~the insufferable jack.

I just want to say since I've seen The Killing Joke listed here that in an interview with alan moore I read he dismissed the killing joke as not saying anything interesting and being a product of comic companies being desperate to ride out the wave of graphic novel popularity by throwing out more comics that they could stamp the label of graphic novel on.
