Hard to put these in order as what I prefer to read depends on my mood but right now it's: From Hell, Maus, Miracle Man, V for Vendetta, Barry Ween, Watchmen, Sandman, Lone Wolf and Cub, Legion Archives Vol. 1 & 2, Stuck Rubber Baby, Pedro and Me. I'll probably remember a few others that should be on the list after I post this, but that's a nice little collection for now. ------------------ Regards, Jamie Coville The History of Superhero Comic Books! http://www.geocities.com/comichistory/ The CollectorTimes.com http://www.CollectorTimes.com

Daredevil:Born Again by Frank Miller
I actually read the original in the regular series but I also bought the TPB to have it in 1 volume. I go back to it a lot.

Mr. Blank is my absolute favorite TPB. It's just beautifully done.

Just going off the shelf above my desk where I put some of my favorite GN's (and art books).
In no particular order (other than left to right): MR. PUNCH SIGNAL TO NOISE VIOLENT CASES LUBA CONQUERS THE WORLD CHESTER SQUARE DRAWN & QUARTERLY VOLS. 3&4 SAFE AREA GORADZE GOLEM'S MIGHTY SWING HEY, WAIT... BOX OFFICE POISON A COMPLETE LOWLIFE EXPO'S 99, 00, & 01 THE KING OF PERSIA GOOD-BYE, CHUNKY RICE (oh yeah!) HICKSVILLE IT'S A GOOD LIFE IF YOU DON'T WEAKEN I NEVER LIKED YOU THE COMPLETE HUTCH OWEN HOW TO BE AN ARTIST (have re-read this about 6 times so far!) PISTOLWHIP BIZARRO (spent weeks pouring over this one) BIG CLAY POT LA MOUCHE CITY OF GLASS SUCKLE CRUMPLE LAZARUS CHURCHYARD:THE FINAL CUT COUSCOUS EXPRESS THE LAND OF NOD ROCKABYE BOOK VOLCANIC REVOLVER
Whew! And I didn't even include the magazines (RUBBER BLANKET, CAGES) or the artbooks (BATMAN: ANIMATED, the Alex Toth books, etc.) Come to think of it, the next time anyone asks me for a good primer list of great comics, I think I'll just refer them to this shelf! ;-)
