How about the pre-'Dark Pheonix' John Byrne Uncanny X-Men, before Chris Claremont started using the book to work out personal issues? In color, please.

DC will never do it, but for some reason I keep holding out hope that it will happen someday.

Wasn't there a rumor that DC might actually reprint Atlantis Chronicles as a companion product for the forthcoming Aquaman series Rick Veitch is doing?

Yep. The Quiver hardcover collected the first ten issue's of Kevin Smith's Green Arrow. I don't think DC has scheduled a paperback edition yet, but if they run true to form, they probably will in the next year or so.

Yeah. Same rumor comes out every couple of years. Heck, more than a rumor, DC says that they'll "poll retailers" every couple of years. And I suppose they do, and the answer is always the same: No demand. frown

I'll just keep writing and asking for it.

>>so much of the current series is spun-off of repercussions from the Legion Lost it's hard to get new readers into the book<<

So much for the latest restart being new-reader-friendly!

Seriously, this is bound to happen with any book with a large cast that relies on soap opera-style plotting. Given that DC didn't start collecting the reboot issues until Legion Lost started, maybe you should hope for yet another restart to get the LL trade! smile

The one book I most want to see is a Lois Lane Archives.

Would love to see all of Alan Moore's DC short stories collected. A book of Neal Adams' Batman work, maybe even a book dedicated to his covers, too.

Shit, what a shocker. Just a few hours ago I was in Barnes and Noble and I spotted a Punisher: War Zone trade! Must be brand new. Issues 1 through 6, 15 bucks, high quality paper. I should have bought it but I afterwards I was going to a real comic book shop, and my goal of the night was I Never Liked You. The real shop didn't have it, I didn't have time to go back, I ended up buying Top Ten v1.

Wow, most of my votes for collections have already been mentioned. That's a damn dirty shame about Flex Mentallo keeping Doom Patrol from being collected. And, sadly, I agree with the above poster who said that taking out the Charles Atlas elements from Flex would essentially be taking out the spirit of the character and story.

Anyhow, to echo those who've come before:

- Morrison's Doom Patrol
- Morrison's Zenith
- The remainder of Morrison's Animal Man
- Any and all Miracleman

A few other requests:

- Milligan's Shade the Changing Man
- Morrison's Kid Eternity mini
- Morrison's Dan Dare
- Nicieza/Maguire's Captain America: Year 1 mini
- O'Neil's The Question
- Instant Piano

And just because I remember them fondly:

- Mike Baron/Kelly Jones' Deadman stories from Action Comics Weekly
- Foglio/Barta's Plastic Man mini from the late 80s
- Starlin/Wrightson's The Weird
- The Barr/Davis issues of Detective Comics

Oh, there are many others, but that's my list.
