I've never been into Dark Horse Aliens comics, except for exceptional works like
Alchemy by Richard Corben , but I always wanted to read this:

HEAVY METAL PRESENTS ALIEN: THE ILLUSTRATED STORY
by Archie Goodwin and Walter Simonsonbased on the screenplay by Dan O'Bannon. 1979. First Edition. Large paperback format. Simon and Schuster. The Alien movie novelized in graphic novel form (comic). A must have for fans of the Aliens movies and great sci-fi! Long out of print, rare and hard to find.

"Goodwin and Simonson worked together on Heavy Metal's adaptation of the motion-picture "Alien" in 1979. That graphic novel was the first released in the United States, and was the prototype upon which Goodwin would base Marvel's line of graphic novels; with tremendous distribution into bookstores, Goodwin and Simonson's Alien was
the first-ever comics material to make The New York Times Best-Sellers List, hitting a high of #6."
Has this ever been reprinted? Wouldn't be now a good moment to take advantage of Alien events like the DVD Quadrology, the recent release of the Director's cut of the movie or the upcoming new film “Alien Versus Predator”?
And the best way to do it would be reprinting the comic that originated it all. I don't know if Heavy Metal still own the rights of it, but someone should do it, doncha think?
And speaking of Simonson, I'd like to see a Trade paperback of
Robocop vs. Terminator too:
