PAPERCUTZ' NANCY DREW GRAPHIC NOVEL #1
THE RECIPIENT OF THE BENJAMIN FRANKLIN AWARD FOR BEST GRAPHIC NOVEL

Papercutz is proud to announce that its first volume of the Nancy Drew graphic novel series has received the 2006 Benjamin Franklin Award for best graphic novel. The Franklin Awards are the best known in the independent book publishing field. They are given out by the Publishers Marketing Association, the independent publishers association which has thousands of members, at the annual Ben Franklin Award Gala held just before the BEA, Book Expo America, the book publishing industry's convention.
This is the first year the Franklin Awards added a category for Graphic Novels. Sister company NBM Publishing had another GN in the running: Shane White's North Country.
