I was referring to the Death of Superman sketch from November 1992 (though I know the late '70s sketch that you refer to), which featured Sinbad as Black Lightning. Also, Dana Carvey played Batman, Chris Rock played Robin, Chris Farley played The Hulk, and Rob Schneider played Jimmy Olsen (who Black Lightning shocked with his lightning bolts).
