I'm the only person who really loves Underwater. Even Brown can't bring himself to finish it.

"Ed" is a classic!! It's so great that it'll be back. I love recommending it to people, but they usually have to look for it for months on E-Bay if they want it.

I REALLY hope they're considering adding a dvd-style section of deleted scenes and alternative endings. "Ed" is the Citizen Kane of f**ked up surrealist underground comics, it deserves the special treatment.

.. and if it's too expensive to do the deleted scenes in the book, they should at least consider making a web-page with that stuff.

i buy anything that chester brown does, although underwater was becoming slightly readable in the end...i've given up on Joe Matt because all his comics does now is his diary of masturbating every other hour, it was funny,poignant at first but now it's just becoming everyday life. i'm switching to buying Seth's stuff instead, at least he has something to say.

Ed, in Yummy Fur is indeed slightly different from the collected book, and i believe i read somewhere, that chester himself wanted the slightly more uncluttered ending hence the ending in the trade. however i actually prefer the end in yummy fur better.

As stated in the interview, he's workng on a graphic novel about his sex life.

I LOVED Underwater--there are a few of us out here. I wish he'd finish it. But I'll certainly take a look at whatever he does next.

Yep, I'm one of them, too. Underwater's my favorite Brown so far, but, I, too, look forward to whatever he's got in store for us...
