Jeez, paranoid much?
Ya know, people do own chainsaws. And sometimes people get blood on themselves. It isn't the border patrol's place to jump to conclusions when they have terrorists to watch for.
Nah, s'no big deal. Take a quick sample, send it off, get the results as to whether it's human, and keep it filed on record. Cops do that shit all the time. And if it turns out to be nothing, oh well.
Still, it wouldn't have saved any lives, but it could help if an investigation is needed.
And most people don't own chainsaws with blood on them, if that's what it was.
You don't have to be paranoid, just observant.
