Aaron,

I don't ever recall directly professing anything. Christian is a word that is used and abused too often. As for Christ, I guess Jesus had nice things to say about folks too. Or did you forget that.

Charles,

When you are right, you are so right.

Visitor,

When you cease to post under an alias, then we can talk, okay? Otherwise, you have nothing to say that I am interested in reading.

To all others,

Funny how The Comics Journal group gets all wound up about this one after the bodies they have left lying around bleeding with far nastier comments then I made to Mr B.
I wonder when they went touchy-feely all of a sudden....

Sam

Hey Rick--think this one should be moved to the Gutters? Actually, I see much more civility there in some threads...

Well that's what I get for trusting Iwon.com. Anyway, Marcia Allass (while correcting me on the Millennium Dome thing) can at least attest to the fact that I use the 'nn' spelling in my own magazine.

The single 'n' spelling is not listed in my 2000-pg dictionary either. But it does get some play all over the internet. For example www.millenium.com or www.millenium.net .

Sams lying about his not professing to be anything. He SPECIFICALLY stated the reason he was mad at me was because I had insulted his Christianity with my "his Assholiness Cardinal Catalino" jab in the gutters, not to mention the numerous epithets I would hurl in his direction down there whnever he would say anything stupid.. Its weird, because he's SO offended by that comment, he wont respond to me on Comicon anymore. This is a GOOD thing for me, frankly. So its strange that while he can be offended by things that hurt his feelings, he expects his viciousness to be like "water off a ducks back" because of THEIR past transgressions.

Ugh...

Yeppers, I can vouch for that. Bloody amusing and interesting article that was with creators recounting their Mil. Eve plans, too.

Actually, four months is a good long time for a 6 year child, but hardly for someone as old as you are. Percentage of time with reguard to age.

Right, so being away from Comicon.com for four months would be a long time in the life of the comicon.com comunity, a very long time.

Kim Thompson, on the subject of time:
Quote:
Let's say someone is born January 1, Year 1. He is 0 years old, living in Year 1. On January 1, Year 2 he is now 1 year old, living in Year 2.

So in Batman Year One, Batman was zero years old, even though Bruce was much older. Gosh, time travel can get confusing, if you let it.

Gary Groth points out:

Is everyone as tickled as I am that Sam is a Friend of Ellison?

Even better, he's started using the abr of FOE. I've never seen a pro tear into a fan like I saw Ellison do it. I've seen pros that wanted to, and pros that should have, but none of them did.

Back on topic, I'd love to see _Understanding Comics_ get reviewed someplace like Time magazine.
