awww, Sam is just pissed because he got caught in a BIG HUMILIATING lie in the gutters, its in the new thread Glenn B started up about Pittcon, and you know, sammy has been REAL jovial with Glenn up util getting caught in this embarrasing lie, but now Glenn is a Guttersnipe just like the rest of us.

If you're still here... I said it bfore, I think your efforts with TCJ and now, the Harvey Awards with Chris Ware's fantastic accomplishment and recognition is something ALL readers enjoying this hobby should embrace better.

A thought occurs:

This is the perfect opportunity for Kim Thompson to prove the theory that it is work like Eightball that the general non-comics-reading public wants to see in comics.

Eightball has just gotten exposure to several million Time readers, most of whom have probably not picked up a comic book of any kind in years.

Now, I'm not suggesting that even 10% of Time's readership will seek Eightball out. But if even ONE PERCENT seek it out and one quarter of that number buy it, it ought to mean a considerable increase in sales of Eightball in the next several months (giving time for the process to operate).

So, Kim--how about coming back to us in, say, six months with a report on Eightball's sales over that period?
