Would you set the record straight and tell us whether you think of works like Eightball as being the aesthetic savior of comics or the financial? I've always thought I was agreement with your opinion, but Pat thinks that you believe the masses will cotton up to something like Eightball upon being exposed to it.

What would happen if Oprah decided to promote Love and Rockets? Would the likely effect then disprove your hypothesis?

Admittedly, I find it more plausible that Oprah (or her staff) would find L&R more immediately accessible than Eightball, but you evade my point. If Oprah's promotion of Eightball increased its sales (as would be likely), would this effect disprove your theory?
