Anybody have any idea what's up with Toonscape.com? I haven't been able to access the site since yesterday...

Toonscape is no more. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. It is an ex-dot.com.

I was able to access the main site using this:
http://www.toonscape.com/site/index.cfm but the message boards, pressroom and contact info don't respond.

This could be a news story for the SPLASH, I think. Anyone know the particulars of the collapse or who to get in touch with to find out?

Its back online today, without use of a backdoor URL.

They probably just had a server fart.

I e-mailed Sheldon Owen and asked him what's up and he said the site has been down because of DNS issues and Network Solutions.
He also said toonscape.com is coming out with a new and improved site shortly and launching a large syndication partnership this month with their syndicated artists.
