The Slush Factory and Silver Bullet Comic Books are proud to present four very special interviews conducted by Brian Jacks just in time for Memorial Day. Not only are they comic book veterans; they are US war veterans.

-Joe Kubert has worked on many war comics for DC including Sgt.Rock, All-American Men of War, G.I. Combat, Our Fighting Forces, Our Army At War, Star Spangled War Stories, Unknown Soldier, Enemy Ace, Weird War Tales, and All Out War. He also served in the US Army during the Korean conflict. Join us as Mr. Kubert shares his experiences with us.

-Doug Murray wrote THE 'NAM for Marvel comics for most of its run along with Larry Hama. Read some of the background behind that book. Murray showed his audience what it was like to be in Vietnam as a US soldier, something he was intimately familiar with since he is himself a Vietnam Vet.

-Dan DeCarlo is the beloved artist that brought Josie and the Pussycats and Sabrina the Teenage Witch to life. He also was the artist most closely associated with Archie Comics for over 40 years. DeCarlo was drafted into the Army during WWII. We discuss all of the above in this candid interview.

-Will Eisner is also an Army soldier from WWII and as a journalist in Korea and Vietnam. Most people know Will Eisner from his famous character, THE SPIRIT. His work has inspired so many in the comic industry that they even have an award named after him. Eisner shares his thoughts and experiences here.

Please join us for this special set of interviews.
