It's that time again. Comics Journal #236 takes a long-awaited second look at Creator's Rights with the first of a two-part look at the Marv Wolfman Blade trial, a 60+ page omnibus transcript excerpt which should prove fascinating reading to anyone with an interest in creator's rights or Marvel Comics -- we've even put the introduction online for you!

Also: the first of a two-part essay by Bob Levin exploring the history of Dan O'Neill and his notorious Air Pirates, who waged a legendary legal war with Disney over the appropriation of their character, Mickey Mouse, into a sex-and-drug crazed libertine!

PLUS: Lorna Miller went to Barcelona, and all we got was this cool 2-page comic! R.C. Harvey remembers Hank Ketcham! And we've even reprinted two new TCJ articles on our website: an update of the perpetual trainwreck that is "Rall v. Hellman," and Michael Dean's review of the new Ghost World movie!

Always looking for the story behind the story, it's Comics Journal #236 -- on sale at better outlets nationwide!

Sounds like a good 'un. I remember reading about the Air Pirates thing in COMICS SCENE a long, long time ago (think I still have the issues, in fact)...
