Does anyone know when The Ultimates by Millar and Hitch is coming out? It was supposed to be solicited for a december release, but it wasn't in Marvel's december offerings.

Hopefully never.

Maybe Marvel has pulled it or delayed it due to the recent terrorist attacks. I assume that "The Ultimates" had a nihilistic, more cynical view of heroes, including Captain America. If so, Marvel may have decided that the present is not the best time to release the comic. This is just a guess, though.

Actually, it's going to be in Febuary I think for the debut issue. They wanted a massive push like they had for Elektra so people that buy Wizard (which is usually sold where comics aren't) can get a free 22 page preview of The Ultimates #1 in the Dec. issue. Then they'll have a month or so to find a friendly neighborhood comic shop (if they're so inclined) and boom! Enjoy a comic!

Sounds like a cool idea to me, I like the ultimate line!
