The Saturday December 29 edition of The New York Times should have an article by Julie Lew on comics after the 9/11 tragedy and if/how the culture has changed. I know she interviewed a lot of folks in reference to this article, so hopefully it will be good!

It's already on their website under the 'Arts' section.

The New York Times also lists the Heroes Among Us event sponsored by The New York City Comic Book Museum:

A very nice piece, appropriate in tone and respectful of what these benefit comics are trying to achieve. (I'll even forgive a reference to the speed with which Marvel's Heroes produced as "almost faster than a speeding bullet...")

In the piece, the writer quotes a number of comics personalities--implying a pleasant degree of amount of involvement and initiative on her part. Nitpickers will be vexed by a reference to Stan Lee as "the creator of heroes like Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk and Batman," but it's a very good piece overall.

I'm sure this piece will direct more attention to the various forthcoming benefit books, which can only be a good thing for the various charities.

Congratulations to all concerned for getting this coverage.
