You're referring to the erratic shipping schedule as of late? Yeah I guess that would affect things, and some books might stick in people's minds more given that they presented more available material this year.

Pat, not trying to slam you here I really want to know, why on earth would you buy a book that you do not enjoy? I've seen this before about other comcis here and it always seemed strange that someone would spend good money on something they don't enjoy, so what gives?

Actually, I meant to include columnists in that as well; everyone's discussing this mainstream vs. independent thing, when it's really simple if you consider a person mainly read independent or mainstream books.
However, I do think said columnist probably had more access to more books than I did.
