Admitting it dosen't make it any less sad. Funny thing is, you berate anyone who is a fan of the creator you are currently trolling at. Calling them "worshippers" and other nonsense. Yet the Troll is ultimatly the biggest worshipper of all. I ask again, why do you spend so much time on the Byrne board if you despise him so much?

Quote:
...as for my question to his worshipfulness...what's the big deal? I asked a question concerning why he stamps TPB's instead of signing them. He told me once that he won't sign them, since he doesn't see any money from them. (My Dark Pheonix Saga one to be exact, also signed by Claremoont & Austin).

Except you are only making a snide remark posed as a "question." More likely you are baiting him into a response that you can copy and post here.

SO how is asking that considered being a troll??? )

Because, as you just said above, you already know the answer. You said he told you he dosen't sign TPB's because he dosen't see any money from them. So why are you asking why he dosen't sign TPB's? Again, you're probably hoping a snide question will get an equally snide answer so you can bring it to this board and say "see how rude he is?"

And there in lies the rub...I don't pose as a respected creator who has years and years in teh industry.

Posing? Are you saying he HASN'T had years and years in the industry? Are you saying he is NOT a respected creator? How is it "posing?" You don't "pose" as something you are.

Quote:
I pose as an internet asshole, who loves to get under people's skin!

Never said anything but!!!

Heh. Again, where is the posing here? I won't argue the internet asshole part. But saying you get people's skin is a bit of a stretch. I doubt Byrne or anyone else loses any sleep over your antics. Doubt they even give you a second thought. From the time you spend with this, I wonder if anyone in the "real world" gives you a second thought either.

But I do know comics...and have a strong affinity for them, and the future of the industry, as well as the past.

Oh really? How many posts have you made here that is NOT designed at taking shots at pro's?

Brandon.

The guy really has no business writing on the comics industry (if that's what he will be doing) when he has such a hateful attitude toward it.

What good will his ranting do? What good will his criticism do?

None.

Because he isn't trying to help it. Only continuing the bitching he continually bitches about.

Waah...Marvel isn't run right! Waah...the "fans" live in their parents basements!
Waah...waah...wah!

That's all Byrne does anymore.

...and what real fan wants to keep reading that shit?

Oh...I know...the hero-worshipping fans like you, Pal!

I'll PayPal you a $1, so you can buy a fucking a clue...

All this without having seen one article by JB at Slush? If JB was as hateful as you like to think he is he would have no fans whatsoever.
Sounds like you need the money a lot more than I do.

I think it's only pathetic if you somehow believe it's your right to get an original signature. It's your right to get a story, certainly, but anything beyond what you paid for is extra and at the creators' own behest.

Someone with no sense of humor obviously. I'll explain it so even YOU can understand...

TPB are reprints, so JB found a humorous way to 'sign' TPB's.

Now find something else to fill your agenda quota.

I would consider that an "original" concept if it came from someone who possessed human kindness. BUT, it is safe to acertain that Jumbalaya did it to be a prick, plain and simple. That's what the sad part is. If someone is AT a convention they are there to meet their public, no arms are twisted, or family members threatened; if you don't want to go and sign or sketch then, plain and "fimple" don't do it! But there is a sardonic desire hidden behind those beedie little eyes to see people and beliittle them, people like this do exist, unfortuantely he is one of "those people" in the spotlight, therefore his actions are noticed and heard; which is ANOTHER sin.
Some creators don't go to shows, that's fine, but why attend to insult fans and be known as a jerk; I don't think a normal, breathing individual would want to be known for treating others that way.? Baffling, truly. If you don't want to sign my TPB then don't give me the opportunity, but to insult someone by doing that is wrong, plain and simple. After watching the "form" in discussion (for at least twenty minutes), not ONE, ONE person walked away from his little "area" with a smile on their face, instead they merely shook there heads. I used to think he was good, but whatever talent he has artistically or narratively doesn't matter because now the name has a face and a disgustiing attitude. Some might say, it be best not to meet the faces behind the names, but I don't think that's reality. We want to know more about people, it's the human condition that is why we have biographies, behind the scenes photographs, meet and greets, to better understand and appreciate the individuual we admire. Of course I would like to think that some creators are genuinely interested in their fans...not this guy. He looked as if he would have more fun been clipping his nails or cleaning the lint out of his belly button (if he has an innie?)When someone asked him, "You must enjoy this...huh?" Carl Wilson said, "Hmph...it's the down side of the job," and sighed then told a kid to step away from him, because he needed his space! There''s a lot of space waiting for him when they do the next shuttle launch, forget the monkey! HENRYTHEHORSEOFCOURSE

Hmmm...this "constant battle" seems to be VERY good publicity, as they say there is no form of "bad publicity" Therefore it is a BIT obvious why this trolling by palunstar is perpetuated and the conveiniant relocation of a certain someone appears to be a feeble attempt at seperating one's self from the "chose one?" Nice try, cheeky, really. HHOC

I was going to reply to this but damned if I can make any sense out of it.
