Anyone go to this yesterday? He was signing at Barnes and Noble at Union Square.

I, of course, forgot it was happening at 6, and got there at 7.

That beautiful marathon line was there and i was dead last.

Didn't get the autograph because unlike the awesome siging last year at the world trade center, the union square store wants to close at 10 like always. (last year i think we finally left the store at 12:30 a.m). By 9 p.m he was only halfway done with the people who got there early enough to get a number. He hadn't even touched the latecomers non-number having line.

I guess long lines is one of the things you have to deal with when the author is so nice and sociable to everyone. Good trade off i guess............as long as you get there early.

Bummer, Aaron. I was going to go but I don't get out of work till 5:30, I figured the queue would already be impossible by the time I'd be able to make it. Still, one can't help but be happy for Neil!

I was planning on staying for a few hours anyhow. Last year at the WTC signing B&N stayed open past midnight i remember. Obviously this Union Square store was having none of that.

Too bad. The lines were insane though.
